Cambodia bloggers

Topic:

Last night marked the first gathering of bloggers in Cambodia. Besides yours truly, it was attended by Jinja, Kampuchea Crossings, and Tharum — not to mention reporters from both of the local English-language papers. We didn't, as you might think, talk about what we blog about, since we all read each other's blogs. Instead, we discussed whether blogging makes sense for most Cambodians, the problems they would face, Kampuchea Crossings's recent trip to Vietnam with her husband, development and health issues, the margaritas at Hurley's Cantina, why Al Rokoff shaved his beard (so he would no longer get taken for Osama Bin Laden, as it turns out).

More details over at Jinja.
